Parking Accommodations

Support for Navigating Campus

Students with chronic or temporary medical needs to access closer parking should reach out to their assigned Access Consultant to discuss reasonable accommodations to student parking. In a collaborative effort with Parking Services, SBAS staff will work to coordinate temporary or long term access to a students parking permit.

Pleas note that SBAS staff work with Parking Services to identify closer proximity parking for students within designated student parking areas as interior parking on campus is reserved for faculy and staff. Students are required to purchase a parking pass in order to park on campus, the accommodation provided between SBAS staff and Parking Services serves to provide increased access associated with a students parking permit.

Accessibility Features on the Notre Dame Map

The campus map offers various overlays that can better assist students with access needs navigating campus. On the left side of the map, there is an overlays drop down menu that allows individuals to toggle different features highlighted over the map. The accessible entrances will outline chair accessible doorways, and the accessible parking feature will outline various ADA parking spaces on campus.

It is important to note that all vehicles parking on campus must be registered with Parking Services. The ADA spaces identified on the map are Blue (Open Lots), Green (Gate Access Required Lots), and Red (Reserved for Faculty and Staff).
