Convert text to speech with Kurzweil 3000

Kurzweil 3000 is a literacy support tool that enables students to listen to their assigned readings, read with highlights, and make notes within a digital text format. Originally developed for students with dyslexia, ADHD, low vision, or those who are English Language Learners, Kurzweil 3000 can benefit any student who is looking to engage with their digitized readings more comprehensively. Kurzweil 3000 is available to all Notre Dame students.

Get started with Kurzweil 3000 

To set up your own Kurzweil 3000 account, follow these instructions:
Click on Kurzweil 3000 and enter your name and Notre Dame email address.
Select Notre Dame from the drop down menu.
Click on "add new." This will give you a small screen with your username and password. Copy those and click on the link in the box.
At the login screen, enter your user name and assigned password (you can change your password later).
Select "Help" at the top of the page for instructions on how to download the software.
