In a commitment to providing students with disabilites on campus greater access to reasonable accommodations, the Sara Bea Accessibility Services Testing Center is a resource for students with approved testing accommodations. Utilizing the SBAS Testing Center
The Testing Center is located in 228 Coleman Morse, during the following hours of operation: Mondays and Wednesdays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:45 a.m. to 10 p.m., Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
During finals week, the hours of opertation are modified to accommodate the increase in utilization to meet the needs of our students. These hours and general shifts in process will be communicated with all students with approved testing accommodations via email and SBAS newsletters. If you have additional questions, please reach out to your assigned Access Consultant or Testing Center staff.
Inorder to schedule an exam to be proctored by Testing Center staff, a student must have approved testing accommodations that have been renewed through an approved semester request via AccessND. Student Testing Center Policies
Failure to comply with these guidelines may be considered a violation of the academic honor code and will be reported to your professor.
| Students must register for exams no later than 7 days ahead of time |
| No food or drink allowed in testing rooms besides secured lid* |
| Test time will not be adjusted due to an unexcused late arrival |
| A 5-minute warning before your end time is not guaranteed to be given |
| Cell phones and smart watches are prohibited in testing rooms at all times |
| Coats and bags will need to be stored in our lobby area during your exam |
| Tests will be promptly collected at your exams scheduled end time |
| Restroom breaks will be limited to one per hour of testing* |
| All exams must start and end within the hours of operation of the Testing Center |
| *Unless an approved accommodation and renewed via an approved semester request |
